Numbers have always been my achilles heel. I love them, I loathe them. Oh the meanings they have and the feelings they don't. Since I was little I have been fascinated with so much of the small details in life. A total writer's brain, you're born with one or you're not.
I spent this past weekend in the woods, warm weather and heavy melting snow on the ground. I hiked a lot, held my canon in much steadier hands, laughed way more than I should've, and released my writer's brain fully. I love a good escape, a fast adventure, a warm sun, and a freezing river. A fact too since I was little- I've forever been drawn to the forest. I put the forest in most of my books. I breathe it, I feel it... I love it. I find like nature, it's all the small details that make the best kinda' setting. It's all the small details that make the best kind of life and most of all...the best kind of love.
I'm finding love stories are not my achilles heel. Love stories happen to be one of the best stories I tell. And thrilling murders, but that's a book for another time.
Until then, I happen to know a little story about a small town Kentucky girl they call B', that falls in love with not only her coal owning husband Jaxon Taylor...but a soldier that wants to own her all. "Sandcastle Soldier"...I'm holding up my peace sign about it in the picture and I'm holding up the number two. Double that though! The release date is February 22, 2016. This is THE story...Happy Reads er'body! The castle is ready. <3, Elle Moon
